Meet the Staff: Eric Martellini

Meet Eric Martellini, one of Health Connect Properties’ (HCP) property managers with over 17 years of experience! His duties can range from managing lease administration and troubleshooting building issues to overseeing tenant and owner relations and preparing monthly financial reports. Prior to HCP, Eric worked as a community manager in Boston, MA, where he effectively managed teams and budgets for multiple assets.

  1. Why did you get into real estate?

I like people and like being out in the field. I’ve always had an interest in residential/commercial construction and management.

Full disclosure: I had an Erector Set. I’d construct a building, remodel the interior and boss the little plastic people around. That was about age 9 and I haven’t looked back since!

  1. What is your vision for HCP moving forward?

That we grow with more properties in our management portfolio. I would also like to see the Real Estate sales division continue to develop.

  1. What is the Rocky Mountain region look like currently/for the rest of 2019?

Strong market right now. I believe it will remain that way through 2019.

  1. What advice would you give someone starting in the industry?

Get a mentor. Attach yourself to someone that has had success and learn all you can.

5. How do you spend your free time?

I enjoy singing in my chorus and caring for saltwater fish tanks. In addition, one of my favorite pastimes involves buying things I don’t need from Amazon and having weekly bouts of buyers regret!
