Marsha Tice
VP of Operations / Business Manager

 

Marsha Tice joined Health Connect Properties, Inc. in 2005 as Business Manager. Her duties in this role include all property management and in-company accounting and reporting, all construction and project management accounting, and acting as marketing assistant and the company's office administrator. Marsha brings over 18 years of accounting and bookkeeping experience to this position.

 

Marsha's most recent position began in 1998 for InSite Properties, Inc. as a Staff Accountant and directed both the accounting department and the overall office operations. In this position, Marsha managed and performed all property management accounting using Yardi Enterpriseª for over 2,000,000 square feet of office space which consisted of approximately thirty-five properties and also performed the company's in-house accounting. These duties included all cash receipts and payables, all monthly and annual financial statements and reporting to clients, all training of property managers in applicable portions of the Yardiª software and continuous upgrading and training on all software systems. In addition, Marsha supervised the office staff, set up all company functions and ran one monthly staff meeting. In the latter portion of her tenure with Insite Properties, Marsha took on the property management of several small medical and general office buildings and became skilled at handling the various property and tenant issues that presented themselves.

She began her career in the public accounting field and as a controller for a software company and held this position for seven years. She then joined an Internet education company as an assistant controller for five years.

During her career Marsha has demonstrated her expertise in the field of property management accounting by her ability to take on new accounts easily and with a smooth transition for the property ownership and company management. In addition, she became an invaluable support system to the property managers by anticipating their needs, finding mistakes before they created problems and handling all tenant inquiries with courtesy and respect.

Marsha is planning to continue her education in the field of real estate property management by obtaining her Colorado Real Estate Broker's License within the next year. She likes the challenges of medical office real estate management and looks to further her career in that area. Marsha has been actively involved in RAAP as a volunteer Victim's Advocate.
